Specialised Nutrition for preterm babies on discharge from hospital (Post-Discharge Feed)
In the absence of mother’s milk, Preterm babies need specialised nutrition on discharge from NICU (Neonatal intensive care unit).
This is because continuing Preterm formula (hospital formula) on discharge can lead to metabolic, renal and tolerability issues, due to high protein content, while normal at-home formula can lead to growth faltering due to low nutrients and energy.

Instructions For Preparation
Uses: Add one scoop (5 gm) in 30 ml clean water, add progressively in same ratio for higher feed volumes. Always use water that has previously been heated at full boil for 5 minutes.
